Cranberry Orange Cookies by Kayla Schimke

Ingredients
  • NaN cup Butter
  • NaN cup Granulated Sugar
  • NaN cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • NaN Eggs
  • NaN tsp Vanilla Extract
  • NaN cup All-purpose flour
  • NaN tsp Baking powder
  • NaN tsp Baking soda
  • NaN tsp Cinnamon
  • NaN cup Quick-cooking oats
  • NaN tsp Salt
  • NaN tbsp Orange zest
  • NaN cup Cranberries

Steps

  1. In a bowl, cream butter with granulated sugar and packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.

  3. In a second bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, quick-cooking oats and salt.

  4. Add the combined mixture to the creamed mixture slowly while mixing.

  5. Fold in orange zest and cranberries.

  6. Chill dough for at least 1 hour.

  7. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  8. Create 1 tbsp sized balls of dough and flatten on baking sheet (complete with silicone baking mat).

  9. Bake for 11 minutes.
